Two Skecher Family
Elizabeth has joined the Skechers revolution 🙂
Her GOrun 2‘s are the smaller ones above on the right, mine are on the left.
It might be hard to tell from the pictures, but the women’s version of this colorway is “pink and green” while the men’s is “red and lime” (which is actually more like orange and fluorescent yellow).
I also have a brief update to my recent review of the GOrun 2. My only complaint about the shoe was that the removable insole bunched up and “landed” in an uncomfortable place in the shoe. After posting my review, I got an email from a couple people from Skechers’ Performance Division. They told me that they know about the issue and are working on an improved insole that should solve the problem. They also suggested running in the shoes without the insole – they actually said that they intend the shoes to be run with or without it, depending on whether the individual runner wants the little extra support that the insole provides. Since then, I’ve run about 30 miles in them without the insole (including an 18 mile hilly trail run and a 8 mile tempo-ish run) and they’re great – in fact, I actually like them better without the insole anyway!
