2012 “A” Race
I’ll admit it, my post on Sunday night was far too cryptic. I wasn’t trying to hide anything, I was just excited to get the post up but was too tired and lazy to write anything else. And, yes – if you didn’t figure it out – that was the elevation profile for The Bear 100, a 100 mile ultra on September 28-29. And, yes, I signed up!
The race starts in Logan, Utah and winds through the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest and the Caribou National Forest, ending up on the shores of Bear Lake in south-eastern Idaho. Don’t worry, all of those places sounds like gobblygook to me too right now. For now, what’s really more important is that the course looks beautiful:

Thankfully, it’s still 16 weeks away!
The best news is that Lukas has also signed up and Kevin Chan will be there representing as well!
Aw yeah. Looks awesome.
Awesome. I just ran a race in Utah a week ago. Awesome place to run. You will have a blast.
you crazy. love it.
Looks like a good plan to me…although you do realize there will be no beer at the end UT being dry state and all that!
