On the other hand…
I did run three pain-free miles this morning and feel pretty good today. I’m also healthy, married to a beautiful woman, have a job, a kick-ass dog and some big life-plans in the making. And I’m complaining? Man. I need a swift kick in the head.
I’m f-ing moody these days… you’d better watch out.

My dilemma is always do I train like a madman for races and risk hurting myself (and then sink into depression when i can’t run) or do 6 miles a day and not push myself to ensure I always get the morning fix. I end up coming down in the middle – training for marathons, ironmans but not going totally gung ho in training for them.
